I wonder if I could somehow leave all OSEK stuff behind and create my own system by implementing a virtual machine or something like that... I read a bunch of things about the ways of uploading and permanently storing data on the NXT and I think it's quite easy to do so. Getting the leJOS source code will probably help me to understand what it does, where and how all it's functionality comes to existence. I often find myself in situation where I'm too lazy to read more about how existing technology works, so instead I try to get my hands dirty and learning about it. Well, it's one of the reasons why I never actually like to create normal everyday applications, but whatever...
