If was looking for ideas of how to simulate different states of grey/transparency on a monochrome LCD display but ended up reading about transparent LCD displays! Just google it and you'll find plenty of pictures demonstrating. Wow. I think that's dead-sexy. This way, we come closer to the future of floating and glassy computer interfaces. Just imagine the possiblities! Especially for museums, fairs, shielded rooms with only a glass plate for looking in and such. On could use these displays as touchscreens and most things 1:1 behind the screen to operate in a room with possibly dangerous material to work with or something like that.
I'm usually not such a tech fag, but this is simply genious. I didn't knew about. I am - after all - just a stupid programmer.
