Mostly about effectivity vs. efficiency in terms of game programming.
Run from RAM
A good distraction method I found is looking for new Linux distributions. It's always interesting to browse certain lists from time to time and look what kewl thing one might find there. There's an interesting list of distributions that run from RAM, loading their data one time from a drive and start quicker than normal (atleast in theory). Could be interesting to test some of them. Since I only use a few programs, it might be very useful so save space and back up faster (one thing I do too seldomly).
